Despite the fact that most owners of small and medium size businesses work hard in their businesses, failure rates remain as high as 80% within the first 5 years. Something must be wrong! In Put Your Business on Autopilot in 12 Months or Less, Greg Roworth suggests that most businesses are actually built on a fatal flaw?—the harder you work, the harder it is to succeed in your small business. Put Your Business on Autopilot in 12 Months or Less shows business owners a new way to view their business. Based on 30 years practical experience, the 7 step system Roworth reveals shows business owners how to avoid the normal traps that reduce the typical business owner's life to one of slavery to the business, and how to create the business of their dreams—one that works for the owners, rather than the other way around.

In today’s deeply divisive political environment, the constant media storm pits Democrats against Republicans and liberals against conservatives, and drives narratives that describe Donald Trump as the worst president in American history who should be incarcerated forever for high crimes against society. But another segment of America believes Trump is the savior of the nation and worthy of sainthood.
What is the truth? Is there an acceptable reality somewhere within these two extremes? Can we know what actually guides Trump’s larger than life political persona? What really makes him tick? Is he worthy of the support of an American people desperately seeking the best for a nation in turmoil?
The Magic and Mayhem of Donald Trump lays out with uncommon clarity the reality of the Trump enigma. Known for his supreme self-confidence, inexhaustible ambition, braggadocio, arrogance, vanity, and knack for thriving amid conflict, Trump, who fights opponents with a fierce intensity that is often cruel and harsh, also possesses a firm but realistic sense of right and wrong influenced by a simple faith and bears a serious connection to everyday common people that springs from his past.
You will confidently discover, amidst the magic and the mayhem, the real man behind the myth. And in the process, you just might acquire a renewed or even novel appreciation for this American original.

“It’s good to learn from your mistakes. It’s better to learn from other people’s mistakes.” ~Warren Buffet
Crisis manager George Pillari takes the reader through a series of real-life case studies to show us that decision making in tense situations is a skill to be learned and perfected. Different from most business books that talk about recipes for success (improve your habits, be more productive, etc.), Stupidities highlights what you need to avoid in order to be successful.
In his foreword to the book, Guy Kawasaki sums it up:
“80% of success is avoiding stupidity.”
We learn from the success and failures of Elon Musk, Peter Thiel, Oprah Winfrey, Elizabeth Holmes, Google X, JP Morgan, the New York Yankees, the Titan Sub, Thomas Edison, Taylor Swift, and others.
    The Seven Deadly Stupidities:
    Going for the Moonshot
    Surrendering to FOMO
    Relying on Family and Friends
    Being Blinded by the Upside
    Trusting the Media
    Using Quick and Dirty Thinking
    Neglecting to Measure Twice
There is the amazing story of Soviet General Petrov, who avoided all seven of the stupidities and prevented a global thermonuclear war.
The chapter-by-chapter format lets the reader thumb through and pick the order to read the book. The summary of each stupidity includes lessons learned and advice on how to avoid the stupidity and “be smarter.”
We are twice as likely to respond to negative events than positive ones. Pillari uses this behavioral sciences insight to guide the reader through how to learn from the failures of others and become a better decision-maker.

    Leadership Lessons Volume 2 -...

LEADERSHIP LESSONS Volume 2 is a book that is all about How to Improve Organisational Performance. According to the Oxford dictionary, an essay “is a short piece of non-fiction about a particular topic.” The essays in this book are an accumulation of various projects that I have been involved in for more than a dozen years. The term “projects” spans quite a range of subject matter, and purposes for their existance. The reality is that the central focus of all these essays are improving the ability to understand the dynamics at play that are impacting their organisations. The purpose is to help organisations and the people within them to be able to realise their indifividual and collectve potential. Often business-type books require that a reader slogs all the way through until a light-bulb might possibly go on. By writing this book as a series of essays (each barely two pages long), with some luck, readers will be able to read in almost ‘’bite-size’’ increments, with each essay standing on its own. This makes Leadership Lessons perfect for travel or breaks between meetings. The essays contained in the subsequent pages are printed in more-or-less chronilogically in the order that they were written in, with many of the essays being titled in the form of a question. The reason for the title being in the form of a question is that whilst most any manager in an organisation will be (or should be) looking for answers, it now 2019 and it should be clear that if you don’t learn to ask better questions, you will never get the answers you really need.
