These four plays – White Mice, Who Shot Jacques Lacan?, Radio Rooster Says That's Bad and Over – written by Darren O'Donnell for his theatre company, Mammalian Diving Reflex, will challenge your politics, your ontology and everything you hold to be safe, stable and sacrosanct.

Inoculations documents O'Donnell's progress through the past decade, from the first presentation of Over in 1993 at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre's Rhubarb! festival to 2000's highly acclaimed, Dora-winning presentation of White Mice at Toronto's Theatre Passe Muraille. Covering subjects as diverse as racism and the light spectrum, these plays are provocative, innovative and riotously funny – as entertaining to experience on paper as on stage.

Created by S.S. Van Dine, Philo Vance was quite popular in books, movies and on radio. He was portrayed as a stylish, very intelligent and cultured private detective – an Americanized Sherlock Holmes – working out of New York. In the movies, William Powell, Warren William, Paul Lukas and Basil Rathbone starred as Vance. On radio, he was voiced by José Ferrer, John Emery and Jackson Beck. Not that Vance needed any help solving a crime, he did work closely with his secretary and right-hand woman, Ellen Deering and his pal John Markham, New York County District Attorney. First heard for a brief time on NBC radio in 1945-46 it enjoyed success in syndication beginning in 1948 starring Jackson Beck.

Science and religion go head to head in David Baddiel's debut play: a ferociously funny battle for power, fame and followers.
When physics student Edie seems to prove, scientifically, the existence of God, it has far-reaching effects. Not least for her lecturer, Henry Brook, his marriage to celebrity atheist author Virginia – and his entire universe.
God's Dice is an electric tragicomedy about the power of belief and our quest for truth in a fractured world. It premiered at Soho Theatre, London, in October 2019, starring Alan Davies as Henry, and directed by James Grieve.
