Sinossi

Why talk about water? This vital compound is not equal to anything that gives life to humans, animals and plants; in short, to the entire ecosystem on Earth. How vital can it be to have water to drink to quench your thirst, to accompany our food and to make our environment livable? Many of us ignore the importance of this, either by squandering this common good, or by using it to do business. I will talk about how water is used in various continents and also how it is exploited by some for business, when a common good should belong to all and at low cost. Then we will also address the most important topic, pollution, which today destroys entire seas, lakes and rivers. Sources polluted by the neglect of man towards the environment and towards himself, yes, because those who ruin their territory will also ruin their own future and this is incomprehensible by all those who are defending this planet of ours. We will talk about the various types of water and their characteristics and their qualities. In short, a complete roundup that will bring more knowledge for this immense good that is water.

A shocking tale of the aftermath of a shipwreck
in which greedy Rat threatens the lives of his smaller companions as they drift in a lifeboat amid shark-infested waters.
A cautionary new fable about greed and bullying for ages 7-11. It is also an allegorical tale about the inconsiderate and treacherous overuse of finite resources by the large and powerful at the expense of the small and vulnerable, where horrifyingly no one wins.
'It might even out-grim Grimm.' Goodreads Reviewer TheediscerningIf you like the original fables of the Brothers Grimm and Aesop, you'll love the astonishing All In The Same Boat by Wilkie J. Martin.

Martin longs to be a musician. But a piano wouldn't fit in his mobile home, even if his father would let him have one. Martin's father wants him to play baseball and forget about all that "sissy" music stuff. If it weren't for the harmonica he plays when he's out of the house, and the music he creates in his head when his father is yelling at him, Martin would have no music at all. Then he sees a violin for sale for $50 in a pawn shop window, and he can think of nothing else. There's just one problem: he only has $12.78. Will one of his friends in the Paradise Trailer Park help him solve his dilemma, or will Martin's love of music go forever unrequited? In this engaging audiobook, filled with humor, pathos, and a colorful cast of offbeat characters, Barbara O'Connor shows that friendship and dreams can accomplish miracles-even in Paradise. Jeff Woodman's lively narration and wonderful Southern accents create a diverse and believable cast of characters.
