Sinossi

When Eva Wilder's husband is executed for treason, she is thrown out of her lavish home and ordered back to Londo City. Once more, she has lost everything because of a man. Never again. 
But Eva's newfound resolve falters when she discovers a handsome, shipwrecked Croatian half-dead on the beach. He claims to have come from abroad to kill the vampires of Londo City. 
Vampires of Londo City? Eva flat out refuses to believe him. Or help him. She is done with risky decisions—and men. 
But as Eva waits to board the train back to Londo City, she recognizes her estranged sister in a line of prisoners. She knows the horrible fate her sister faces, and all because of her own rash decisions long ago. Eva has to do something. But what? Stay and rescue Joanna? Ask the charming vampire killer for help? They could all die...
