Beschreibung

Ryoko Hayakawa, now reincarnated as Prince Herscherik of Gracis Kingdom, is about to turn seven years old. He has no athletic skills, no magic, and can’t even claim to be a great beauty among the royal family, but he still can’t afford to keep playing the subservient prince for much longer. Now that he’s begun his grass-roots efforts to fix his kingdom (just like the period drama heroes Ryoko used to watch on TV), he is met with a mind-blowing proposal from the Minister Barbosse. Meanwhile, the nefarious agents of the Church are on the move, and a beautiful and mysterious woman appears to Herscherik. As he plunges into danger to save his kingdom, how far will Herscherik be willing to go?

Two warriors—one mission: Survival…. Sergi Lazaroff is a weapons expert and a member of the Russian FSB, also known as Federal Security Service—a nice term for his true profession as a spy. Assigned to the Project Gliese 581g exploration team, his job was supposed to be simple—find out what was in space, retrieve the technology, and return home with it, if possible. When he wakes up on an alien planet, Sergi knows the last part of his mission will be impossible. Instead, he must use his military skills to survive in a world where he doesn’t know the rules. La’Rue Gant’s search for the mysterious occupant of the pod that landed on the assassin planet of Turbinta quickly turns into a game of predator versus prey. She found what she was looking for—and discovers that the legends may be true when the tables are unexpectedly turned, and she becomes the hunted. What she doesn’t expect is the powerful reaction she has to this man from another world. When word reaches them that another member of the Gliese’s crew was found, Sergi and La’Rue embark on a mission to save that member at any cost. Caught in the middle of an alien civil war, two fighters from vastly different backgrounds must come together to fight for the survival of the Gallant Order even as the Legion forces close in around them. Can they slip through the traps set up to snare them, or will the Legion Director finally capture not one, but two of the prophesied ancient Knights of the Gallant?

Conan the Barbarian is employed by one of the civilized countries to help in it's push to claim lands from the primitive Picts. The Picts are not excited about the idea however. Old gods and mythical creatures are called up by the Pict witches to contest the invading army and Conan finds himself battling for his life amid the blood thirsty hordes that include saber-toothed tigers, 40 foot long venomous snakes and a demon from another dimension who is intent on crushing him. The huge dog Slasher makes an appearance here and distinguishes himself so well in a doomed battle to delay their forces that Conan openly praises his courage and pledges that 7 Pict heads will roll in his honor. Two men stood on top of the stone guard tower at the edge of the old highway, each of them wore thin armor made from mana beast hides, with a sword belted to their hips.
“Captain Hughes, it’s been almost seven days since they went in. At this rate, the dungeon will soon spill over into our world,” the younger man said, fidgeting with his sword sheath, looking past the overgrown interstate. Nature had reclaimed the road ages ago, but spots of the old world still survived.
Tom ignored his lieutenant. They couldn’t see the dungeon portal from the tower. All they could do was watch the flying mountain that hovered in the distance.
He fought the urge to fidget with his sword. There was nothing he could personally do now but watch and wait for the fate of the small town they protected.
But he knew what his lieutenant referenced. The nearby dungeon was the largest he’d ever seen, and if it spilled over, it would be a threat to the town behind him. But the level of the dungeon left few options. He had to rely on the Sect to deal with it.
No one in town was above a third-ring mage. Despite Tom’s experience, he had trouble getting near the portal entrance.
“Captain, do you think it’ll be okay?” Roger broke his thoughts. Tom turned towards Roger, realizing the kid was nearing the point of bolting and hiding in town. Not that that would save his life if the Sect failed.
Tom sighed inwardly. He had more riding on this than he cared to admit. He didn’t want the Sect anywhere near him or Isaac. But he would need their strength to close a dungeon this large.
The city wouldn’t survive if the portal spilled over. It would be a slaughter if the monsters in the dungeon crossed over. Even a fourth-rank mana beast could reduce the entire town to rubble.
