Summary

The Strange Visitation is a mystery tale set on the Christmas Eve in the mansion of well-known multi-millionaire Josiah McNason who receives an unusual and uninvited guest. It was a small uncanny creature, like an unpleasantly huge spider with a human head, small enough to curl itself up on the arm of an easy chair, yet large enough to create fear and repulsion in the mind of such a powerful man. The creature presented itself as Professor Goblin from Hell's United Empire Club, threatening to skin millionaire's soul. As the witching hour approaches, the Goblin grows wings and takes Josiah away on a life changing road trip somewhere between dreams and reality.

Fonda Lee returns to the world of the Green Bone Saga with a new standalone novella.

The rapidly changing city of Janloon is ruled by jade, the rare and ancient substance that enhances the abilities and status of the trained Green Bone warriors who run the island’s powerful clans.

Pulo Oritono is not one of those warriors. He’s simply an apprentice jade setter with dreams of securing clan patronage and establishing a successful business. His hopes are dashed, however, when a priceless jade weapon is stolen from the shop where he works.

Now, Pulo has three days to hunt down the thief, find the jade, and return it to its rightful owner if he wants to save his future prospects, the people he cares about, and his very life. The desperate mission will lead Pulo to old vendettas, vast corruption, and questions about everything and everyone he thought he knew.

    Warning: Foul-mouthed cat ahead
Prof Croft here and, yes, I trapped a murderous succubus in a kitten’s body and made her my pet. The alternative was to behead her, and as wizards go, I’m just not that callous.
Do you think Tabitha shows any appreciation? Two years old now, her speech has grown along with her girth, and when not insulting me, she’s plotting ways to devour my soul.
But that’s the least of my problems. An early winter storm has plunged our unheated apartment to near freezing, and I’m too cash-strapped to afford a chimney sweep. So when a strange woman appears, asking me to investigate an attack at an old smallpox hospital, I accept the case along with her vague offer of compensation.
And If I can involve Tabitha, who knows? Maybe we’ll finally start bonding.
Sure, and maybe Hell will host the next Winter Games.
Croft & Tabby is a spinoff of the popular Prof Croft series, set before the main books. If you like snarky cats, fledgling mages, and supernatural investigations, you'll love Croft & Tabby!

Originally he was just one of the characters in Song for a Gypsy but later his story was told in I Am Wolf. I Am Wolf: They call me Wolfboy. Of that very simple reason that I am part-wolf, part-boy. I'm not immortal as many people might think, but I will live longer than most. Thousands of years longer. I am immune to all diseases, I am stronger than most other beings on this planet, and I have lived through many wars and sustained much pain in my life that no human could ever do. I heal easily, but I do get hurt. I have. Up until this day, I've never told anyone how I became who or what I am. This is my story. I Am Wolf is a paranormal thriller with some violence and sexual situations recommended for ages 16 and up. Song for a Gypsy: Sara's life is drastically changed the moment a convoy of horse-drawn caravans enters the quiet Reidenburgerstrasse, where she lives with the people she thinks are her parents. Sara doesn't know that her parents found her in a basket on their doorstep 13 years earlier. Neither does she know that she is a gypsy or that she is going to be the greatest sorceress who has ever lived. Soon, Sara will discover a magical world she never knew existed and go on a journey that she knows will cost her dearly. In Song for a Gypsy, we meet Sami the Wolfboy for the first time.

“Dr. Georgia Thackery is smart, resourceful, and determined to be a great single mom to her teenager. Georgia is normal in every respect—except that her best friend happens to be a skeleton named Sid. You’ll love the adventures of this unexpected mystery-solving duo.”—Charlaine Harris, #1 New York Times bestselling author

Georgia Thackery, adjunct English professor, has a new job teaching at Falstone College of Art and Design, known as FAD to its students and faculty. Living in a borrowed bungalow during winter in the snowiest part of Massachusetts, Georgia feels her isolation weighing as heavily as the weather. Then she receives a package containing her best friend, Sid, a walking, talking skeleton who has lived with the Thackery family since Georgia was six. With Georgia working out of town, Sid was lonely too.

The two of them make plans for a cozy semester together, and it might have worked out that way if Sid hadn’t snuck out in the middle of the night to play in the snow and spotted a crashed car. When he drags Georgia out to investigate, they find the driver behind the wheel, apparently dead from the collision.

Initially, police think it’s an accident, so Georgia and Sid think that’s the end of it—until Georgia finds out the body hits closer to home than she’d realized …
