I glanced up at the scoreboard; it read :03; 21-17. Jacoby had to go through me to win the game. My teeth clenched as I crouched, ready to surge forward.  As soon as the center moved the ball, I blitzed. I stayed low and dropped my shoulder pads just in time to meet Jacoby at the goal line. We connected with a loud thud on impact.  Time stood still. Everything came down to this play. Two superstars, undefeated teams, and a developing rivalry go head-to-head in the last game of the season. Who will bring home the bragging rights?
