Summary

Wotan and the People of the Moon are being attacked in their northern caves by invaders from Nubia, deep in the south. Wotan is a blend of the peoples, and thus more capable and intelligent- he decides to fight back! 
After his tribe is wiped out, he sets off in pursuit of those who destroyed them, in their own jungle homeland, where sorcery is rife, and life is cheap.   
Wotan allies himself with Mitra, the god of the sun, and suddenly the odds seem less overwhelming, although still he must face evil Nefari the witch woman, and then Amun, the warrior leader of Meroe and his sacrificial volcano...
