The following subjects are in the books 9 titles that are included in this book bundle:
Subject 1: ADHD is a condition in the brain many people are somewhat familiar with.

However, when it comes to the specifics, the majority of us are still left in the dark. The main essence of ADHD is missing when people just think that you’re hyperactive and unfocused. There is way more to it. And not only is so much more to say about the causes of ADHD, but about the consequences as well.
Subject 2: Dyslexia may be more common than you think. And it’s important to know about it if someone has it. What’s even more crucial, is knowing how to recognize it, learning to deal with it, and find solutions to solve some of the common problems it can create.
Subject 3: Dive into the realm of endless possibilities, some of which will be revealed to you in this quick guide. Various topics will be addressed, such as brain training games, video games that can stimulate the right kind of brain activity, the effects of school, and general ideas about IQ and intelligence.

Contemporary discrimination has changed in important ways from the forms it took in the 1960s, the era in which our civil rights law system originated. Previously, the primary targets of discrimination were groups: African Americans, women, and Latinos, among others. The goal of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 was to integrate marginalized groups into civic life, shatter ceilings, and break down barriers. The law sought to make us better people and America a more equal nation.

And it has. Discrimination against groups still occurs, but affected groups can marshal the rights regime to target and eliminate discriminatory policies. The challenge today, however, is to protect the individual, and our civil rights laws struggle with this. The people most likely to face discrimination today are those who do not or cannot conform to the whims of society. They are the freaks, geeks, weirdos, and oddballs among us. They do and wear strange things, have strange opinions, and need strange accommodations.

Outsiders is filled with stories that demand attention, stories of people whose search for identity has cast them to the margins. Their stories reveal that we have entered a new phase of civil rights and need to refresh our vision.

Over a year I wrote more than forty letters to my seventeen-year-old son. They are short reflections on topics ranging from the familiar to the social and political. Topics that are part and parcel of both the daily lives of adults and young people in contemporary society. I am not looking to indoctrinate but rather to share points of view and sincere reflexion for considering part of our reality with a more critical and reflective viewpoint.
The book, which originated as something special and private between a father and son, is aimed at both young people and adults who wish to go beyond the superficiality and haste of our times. Readers will find in it an opportunity to reflect a little more on the "platitudes" that we often take for granted.

A Supreme Court case over whether minors should be able to access violent video games in California had the justices debating the definition of violence and the boundaries of the First Amendment.
The lawyer for the state of California, who was advocating for a law banning the sale of violent video games to those under 18 years of age, told the court that the law has two goals. First, it’s intended to help parents protect minors from accessing violent video games. And, secondly, he said it’s to protect minors from the harmful effect of using violent video games.
The justices responded to his argument by asking how society defines violence and whether the law would apply to violent books, movies and even fairy tales. Analyst Marcia Coyle of the National Law Journal says that by seeking this video game law, California is essentially asking the court to make an exception to the First Amendment.
The lawyer arguing for the video game industry and against the law said that the law would not address any specific societal problem. He cited studies showing that playing violent video games does not affect a teenager’s behavior later in life.
