Basic computer coding is now among the most important skills a child can have for their future. There are many programming languages designed specifically for children to begin their studies, but the Scratch programming language, already recognised in schools around the world, is widely considered as the ideal place to begin programming in early education.
The highly successful Code-It series is a comprehensive guide to teaching Scratch to children in a classroom setting. It is designed for the UK-based KS2 curriculum but can easily be used to supplement other programming courses for children between the ages of 7 and 11.
There are four pupil workbooks designed to work in conjunction with the Code-It teacher handbook. They provide structure and resources for the children, including optional homework activities to extend to learning outside the classroom.
Workbook 1 provides all the pupil resources to accompany Year 3, Chapter 2 of the teacher resource book How to Teach Primary Programming Using Scratch, including optional homework activities to extend learning outside the classroom. It explains how to think, program and debug exciting programming projects such as Smoking Car Game, Music Machine, Conversation, Interactive Display and Dressing up Game. It also outlines how to use analytical computational thinking skills for algorithm design, algorithm evaluation, decomposition and generalisation.

The advantages of hypnosis therapy are widespread. A lot of individuals report positive changes with hypnosis and it's recognized as a valid type of holistic alternative medicine.
Hypnosis is a popular technique utilized for weight loss, overcoming addiction, healing, achieving goals, relaxation and stress relief. It's utilized to get rid of undesired behaviors and beliefs and to manifest new desires and achieve goals in life.

If you wish to influence your subconscious mind to accept new programming for positive alterations hypnosis is an effective technique for doing that.
Among the chief advantages of hypnosis is that when you in a hypnotic state brain wave frequencies decelerate. You center or focus your awareness and you're actually much more aware than usual. A state of centered awareness almost feels as though you're more of an observer of thought and images rather than a part of them. This allows you to bypass the "gatekeepers" at the entrance to the subconscious and superconscious so you are able to access these levels of consciousness directly, and the brain is much more receptive to suggestion.
The unconscious, or subconscious may then be reprogrammed so it lets go of old patterns, beliefs and feelings that no longer serve you. They may be replaced with suggestions that are favorable and affirming. The superconscious mind may open you into fresh insights and originative ideas.
Put this audio on each night before you go to bed and listen to it right before you fall asleep. If you have time also listen to it first thing upon waking. Do this for at least 21 days consistently so that positive change can take affect in your life.

If you want to discover the captivating history of the Goths, then pay attention...
When J. R. R. Tolkien was writing his best-known work, The Lord of the Rings, between 1937 and 1949, he drew inspiration from various sources, with the largest well of inspiration being European folklore. However, according to some sources, he would also use real-life historical figures and base his characters on them. Take Théoden, for example. Théoden was an aging king of Rohan who, after Gandalf the wizard helped him strip the yoke of Grima Wormtongue, rode into battle and died being crushed by his horse
The men picked him up and carried him into battle nonetheless, singing praises to him and shedding tears. Scholars claim that Tolkien based Théoden on a real-life king who also died by being trampled by his troops’ horses but who was known for his bravery and who dealt a mighty defeat to a superior foe in the process.
That king was Theodoric I, the battle was at the Catalaunian Plains, and the king himself was a Goth.
In The Goths: A Captivating Guide to the Visigoths and Ostrogoths Who Sacked Rome and Played an Essential Role in the Fall of the Western Roman Empire, you will discover topics such asWho Were the Goths? Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is a longstanding problem that has increasingly come to the forefront of international and national policy debates and news. Yet, while we frequently read or learn about particular experiences or incidents of VAWG, we are often unaware of the full picture.Jacqui True provides an expansive frame for understanding VAWG in this book. Among the questions she addresses include: What are we talking about when we discuss VAWG? What kinds of violence does it encompass? Who does it affect most and why? Does VAWG occur at the same level in all societies? Are there cultural explanations for it? What types of legal redress do victims have? How reliable are the statistics that we have? Are men and boys victims of gender-based violence? What is the role of the media in exacerbating VAWG? And, what sorts of policy and advocacy routes exist to end VAWG? This volume addresses the current state of knowledge and research on these questions. True surveys our best understanding of the causes and consequences of violence against women in the home, local community, workplace, public, and transnationally. In so doing, she brings together multidisciplinary perspectives on the problem of violence against women and girls, and sets out the most promising policy and advocacy frameworks to end this violence.
