Sinopse

Daniel Zalewski is the features director of The New Yorker. He edits the work of many staff writers, including David Grann, Jane Mayer, Alex Ross, Lawrence Wright, Ian Parker, George Packer, and Rebecca Mead. Zalewski began his career as an intern at Harper’s. He became an editor at Lingua Franca and then moved to the New York Times Magazine, where he worked as a story editor for five years. He has been at The New Yorker since 2003, and has contributed his own writing to the magazine, including profiles of Rem Koolhaas, Werner Herzog, Ian McEwan, Guillermo Del Toro, and Christian Marclay. He has also written for the Times Book Review, Slate, and Salon.

Daniel Zalewski's essay "Once In The Jungle" chronicles American Tobias Schneebaum, a painter-turned adventurer who hitchhiked to Peru, walked into the Amazon jungle and came to live with an isolated native Indian tribe, the Arakmbut people, for seven months in 1956, and his defining moment of participating in cannibalism.

Gary Telles has been narrating audiobooks for the past ten years. A veteran stage actor, he has performed classical, contemporary and original theatre across the country, in addition to appearing on television, radio and CD-ROM.
