Summary

This introductory guide reveals the ancient philosophical and spiritual wisdom of the Chinese Zodiac.   One of the oldest forms of spiritual wisdom, Chinese astrology remains one of the most popular and powerful zodiac systems. Following a twelve-part cycle of years represented by different animals, the system is further divided by month, day, and hour of birth—revealing one’s inner, true, and secret animals. Focusing more on the person than on events, it offers more philosophical and introspective insights than its western counterpart.    This introductory guide covers the basic concepts and principles of Chinese astrology, as well as its history and origins. It also features detailed synopses of personality traits associated with each sign, as well as traditional Chinese artwork.

    September Facts - Short Read...

This is a short read from the book: What Does The Month Of Your Birth Reveal About You , only focusing on September Facts.
The month of our birth might reveal a lot about who we were born to be. A frequent strategy in numerology is to determine a person's personality based on their birth month. Scientists and statisticians have determined that the month of one's birth influences everything from professional choices to attitude.
“The time of year in which you emerge from the womb is correlated to some extent with how long you live, how tall you are, how well you do in school, your adult body mass index, your morning-versus-evening preference, and how likely you are to develop a range of diseases,” says Russell Foster, an Oxford scientist. This could be because of both either the astrology or the season of pregnancy. Regardless of how you were born, the month you were born might have a huge impact on your life.
How the stars were aligned at the time of your birth, might reveal a great deal about you as a person. Numerous researches have been conducted, and there is strong evidence that our birth date influences our personality traits, such as whether we are introverts or extroverts.

    The Turba Philosphorum -...

Brought to you by Altrusian Grace Media and narrated by Matthew Schmitz. The Turba Philosophorum, also known as Assembly of the Philosophers, is one of the oldest European alchemy texts, translated from the Arabic, like the Picatrix. It is considered to have been written c. 900 A.D. To quote Plessner, "the Turba Philosophorum, written c. 900 A.D., is a well planned and, from a literary point of view, a most remarkable attempt to put Greek alchemy into the Arabic language and to adapt it to Islamic science". Nine philosophers take part in a discussion, being, once the text has been transcribed back to the original Arabic, Anaximander, Anaximenes, Anaxagoras, Empedocles, Archelaus, Leucippus, Ecphantus, Pythagoras and Xenophanes. The statements of the philosophers, whilst usually different from the known beliefs of the pre-Socratics, are usually recognisable as outgrowths of Greek philosophy. They discuss matter, how it acts, and relate this to cosmology, with three theses presented by Xenophanes in his closing speech, being, again from Plessner: "1) The creator of the World is Allah, the God of Islam; 2) The world is of a uniform nature; 3) All creatures of the upper as well as of the lower world are composed of all four elements.

When a child comes out as LGBTQ+, Christian parents often find themselves navigating unfamiliar, unsettling terrain. Mark Yarhouse and Olya Zaporozhets, therapists and researchers with decades of experience, have written this book to provide perspective, insight, and the chance to learn from others who've shared a similar journey. Using data from studies of Christian parents of LGBTQ+ children, they deliver research-based insights and faithful wisdom that is accessible for parents, their friends, and church leaders.

Yarhouse and Zaporozhets reframe the focus away from "culture war" questions that are not helpful to families in favor of practical counsel for maintaining and deepening relationships. Parents and the church leaders who care for them will benefit from understanding key developmental considerations among teenagers and emerging adults who are navigating questions around sexual and gender identity and faith.

Identifying common patterns while acknowledging the uniqueness of each family, here is a book to guide parents in processing their own experiences, beliefs, and relationship with God. They will also discover techniques to reduce fear-based parenting choices and to express love, as the parent-child relationship continues to change and grow over time.
