  Daniel Zalewski is the features director of The New Yorker. Zalewski began his career as an intern at Harper’s. He became an editor at Lingua Franca and then moved to the New York Times Magazine, where he worked as a story editor for five years. He has been at The New Yorker since 2003, and has contributed his own writing to the magazine, including profiles of Rem Koolhaas, Werner Herzog, Ian McEwan, Guillermo Del Toro, and Christian Marclay.
