Summary

On October 6, 1948, a U.S. Air Force B-29 Superfortress crashed soon after takeoff, killing three civilian engineers and six crew members. In June 1949, the engineers' widows filed suit against the government, determined to find out what exactly had happened to their husbands and why the three civilians had been on board the airplane in the first place. But it was the dawn of the Cold War and the Air Force refused to hand over any documents, claiming they contained classified information. The legal battle ultimately reached the Supreme Court, which in 1953 handed down a landmark decision that would, in later years, enable the government to conceal gross negligence and misconduct, block troublesome litigation, and detain criminal suspects without due-process protections.Claim of Privilege is a mesmerizing true account of a shameful incident and its lasting impact on our nation—the gripping story of a courageous fight to right a past wrong and a powerful indictment of governmental abuse in the name of national security.

Our past does not simply disappear. The painful history of our ancestors and their rich cultural wisdom intertwine within us to create the patterns of our future. Even when past trauma remains unspoken or has long been forgotten, it becomes part of us and our children—a legacy of both strength and woundedness that shapes our lives.

In this book, Tirzah Firestone brings to life the profound impact of protracted historical trauma through the compelling narratives of Israeli terror victims, Holocaust survivors, and those whose lives were marred by racial persecution and displacement. The tragic story of Firestone's own family lays the groundwork for these revealing testimonies of recovery, forgiveness, and moral leadership.

Throughout, Firestone interweaves their voices with neuroscientific and psychological findings, as well as relevant and inspiring Jewish teachings. Seven principles emerge from these wise narratives—powerful prescriptive tools that speak to anyone dealing with the effects of past injury. At the broadest level, these principles are directives for staying morally awake in a world rife with terror.

Why is it that our highly-interconnected and globalized world seems more chaotic and dangerous than ever? Have you ever wondered why the world seems to lurch from seemingly unconnected crisis to crisis? From the pandemic to climate change and net-zero policies? From food shortages to high inflation and collapsing markets? But are they really unconnected? This book explores the reality suggesting that, in fact, none of what is happening across the globe is happening by chance.
Right under humanity’s nose, supranational organizations such as the United Nations, the Club of Rome and Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum strive to usurp national sovereignties in the quest for a dystopian future, with the threat of transhumanism, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, central bank digital currencies, universal basic income and digital IDs looming ever closer.
This book compiles hundreds of pieces of evidence to expose the dystopian goals of a global control matrix lying in the shadows. By reading this book, you become part of humanity’s fight back against the new world order being forced on the globe. We must fight for our freedoms and for those of generations to come.
    Humanity can, and will, win.
