Richard Holmes

Richard Holmes, born in 1945, is an award-winning biographer, author of Shelley: the Pursuit, Coleridge: Early Visions, Dr Johnson & Mr Savage and Coleridge: Darker Reflections, which won the Duff Cooper Prize and the Heinemann Award in 1999. Footsteps, his 'adventures of a romantic biographer', was published in 1985.
