Foreword author, Kate Bornstein, is known as the original "Gender Outlaw." She is a leading gender theorist, performance artist, and playwright, is the author of A Queer and Pleasant Danger (2012) and Gender Outlaw: On Men, Women, and the Rest of Us (1994, 2019).
